GEM HUNT PODCAST
The family behind Dirt Dog Cinema brings you “Gem Hunt”. On each episode the dirt dogs dig up an obscure horror movie, gauge its level of obscurity, and vote to decide whether it warrants “hidden horror gem” status.
New episodes drop bi-weekly on Fridays.
The Appointment (1982) – Gem Hunt
If someone tells you to stay away from the creepy pathway though the woods, you best listen! The Gem Hunt crew takes a trip across the pond for a very British horror flick: The Appointment from 1982. We break down the history, rediscovery, and restoration of this once lost film, and get deep in the weeds discussing the Freudian family drama at the heart of the story. Stick around for a big ol’ preview of what we have planned for October.
